Workshop 1: NC GROW CSP Information Session
Expanding Opportunity Through High-Quality Charter Schools
Join this session for a comprehensive overview of the NC GROW Charter Schools Program (CSP), a federally funded initiative designed to expand access to high-quality public charter schools across North Carolina. Participants will learn about the grant's purpose and priorities, including its focus on innovative models in CTE, STEM, and AI.
This session will walk through subgrant opportunities, eligibility requirements, and the overall application process—from Letter of Intent to full application. Attendees will also gain insight into key timelines, funding structures, and expectations for awarded schools.
Whether you are exploring the opportunity or preparing to apply, this session will provide the foundational knowledge needed to take the next step.
Workshop 2: NC GROW CSP Application Lab (Interactive TA Session)
Build Your Application with Real-Time Support
This hands-on workshop is designed for schools actively preparing to apply for the NC GROW CSP grant. Participants will engage in a guided, interactive session to strengthen key components of their application.
Attendees are encouraged to bring draft materials, including budget plans, school improvement plans, program designs, or other relevant documents. Participants should also come prepared with relevant data and insights to support the development of CTE programming, including needs assessments, access and participation data, partnership ideas, and strategies for supporting at-risk student populations. Facilitators will provide targeted technical assistance, feedback, and structured work time to help refine proposals in alignment with NC GROW priorities and requirements.
By the end of the session, participants will leave with clearer direction, stronger application components, and practical next steps to move forward with confidence.
