Brevard Academy Celebrates End-of-Year Staff Honors

Pisgah Forest, NC — Brevard Academy is proud to recognize four outstanding staff members
selected by their peers for the school’s End-of-Year Staff Honors.

This year’s honorees are Jamie Conley, 2nd Grade Teacher, named Teacher of the Year;
Kristen Mullins, 4th Grade Teacher, named Rookie of the Year; Sophia Gamache, 2nd Grade
Teacher, named Beginning Teacher of the Year; and Katie Sprunger, named Instructional
Assistant of the Year.

Each award winner was chosen through staff voting, making these honors especially meaningful
as they reflect the respect, appreciation, and admiration of their colleagues.

All four honorees will have the opportunity to attend the NC Association of Public Charter
Schools Summer Conference, where they will continue learning, networking, and bringing new
ideas back to Brevard Academy.

Brevard Academy celebrates these educators for their dedication, professionalism, and
commitment to students. Their work reflects the school’s mission to provide a rigorous,
well-rounded education in a supportive and nurturing environment.
