The North Carolina Association for Public Charter Schools is thrilled to announce the addition of four new staff members to help support the rollout of the NC GROW CSP grant.

Vanessa Baker will serve as Technical Assistance Specialist. Vanessa has an extensive background in charter school management and grants management, supporting schools in implementing funded initiatives and meeting compliance requirements.

LaKisha Cherry is the Budget Specialist for NCAPCS and brings years of expertise in grant-funded financial operations, regulatory compliance and executive support.

Dr. Jameya Jones serves as the Career Development Specialist and will leverage her background in career development and workforce trends to help charter schools expand student awareness and access to CTE, STEM and emerging fields such as artificial intelligence.

Spencer Busby Menzel serves as Grants Manager for the NC GROW CSP grant and brings an extensive knowledge of the grant making and management process.
