As part of our commitment to strengthening charter school quality across North Carolina, NC GROW CSP has selected exceptional partners whose expertise in governance, finance, research, and leadership will help strengthen charter schools across the state. 

 

Transportation Consultant- DG Consulting Services, LLC

 

DG consulting services (DGCS), provides consulting services in the area of pupil

transportation. Consultant Derek Graham spent 33 years serving the state of North

Carolina, almost exclusively in the area of school transportation. He is a recognized expert

in national school transportation issues, North Carolina public school law regarding school

transportation, and a regular speaker at state and national conferences. His focus on this

subject matter uniquely qualifies DGCS to provide services as requested as part of the NC

Grow Grant.

 

Sustainability Consultant-Leaders Building Leaders

 

Leaders Building Leaders brings extensive experience supporting charter schools in strategic

planning, governance development, leadership coaching, organizational improvement, and

long-term sustainability. Dr. Tom Miller has worked with more than 100 charter schools across

North Carolina, served on a North Carolina charter authorizing team, developed Ready-to-Open

support systems, served as interim Executive Director for ten charter schools, and supported

boards and leaders through periods of growth, transition, and organizational challenge.
