The Role of the Board v. School Leader: Participants will work with
trainers on this important topic beginning with a review of the
responsibilities of the board in comparison to the charter school
leader, leveraging this content toward a meaningful discussion on
how the work of the board intersects with the school leader.
Attendees will receive explicit training on how to conduct a board
meeting to produce quality meeting results and engagement of
stakeholders using a thoughtfully designed board decision matrix
combined with several real examples of charter school matters as
content during the session.
